West Quoddy Lighthouse
It was all about the light! I was in Baxter State Park for a
moose shoot (camera not gun) and decided to stay overnight in Lubec to catch
first light on this magical lighthouse. Mother Nature cooperated with a
beautiful sunrise to fill the sky and cast just the right amount of light on
the beacon. I did shoot this originally in color but the contrasts, the angles
and the sky all screamed monochromatic!
Thanks to NIK Silver Efex Pro 2, I was able to capture the feel of the moment.
