“People look at ordinary stuff all day long, so why not make a picture look extraordinary, and give them something new to look at.” - Heath Bouffard

Moth Protected
A room in an abandoned farmhouse provided many unique photo ops. There was a medicine cabinet still stocked as it would have been fifty years ago; a country kitchen to be Challenge # 48; and this bedroom closet.
I was immediately attracted to the positioning
of the bug sprayer and the sweater. After all of these years, it was sort of protecting the sweater from
bug infestation. The color of the insecticide was a vivid orange, which made it
really stand out in a dark monochromatic room. I was fortunate enough to have
gone on this shoot with a man who is prepared for all occasions, Jeff Turner.
He kindly lent me his portable light source to illuminate the area. I have
shots of the sprayer by itself but felt there was a link between the garment
and the canister. Also, looks well as a B&W. You can see that B&W and
more of this shoot on my website.
Michelle, Deana, Peyton, Phil, Joyce, Milt, and Mike Di appreciated Annisquam. Mike mentioned how area parking restrictions have made it very difficult to shoot this lighthouse now.
