Shoot XII - Plymouth Festival

Bangladesh. . .You guys are good as Jim, Mike, Milt, Elaine, Joani, Peyton, and Michelle all came up with the Asian country.

"Rustic Signage"

One of my favorite places to visit each year is Plymouth, MA. Just an hour's drive from home, I see it as a quiet spot to walk, snap some pictures and grab a bite to eat.

This occasion was the Plymouth Festival with vendors of all sorts lining Water Street. I noticed the above image on a door near the actual festival. The rust coupled with the name of the distillery, "Dirty Water" made this one of my favorites from 2015 - not to mention the classic one-hit wonder from the Standells! "Love that dirty water. . ."

Where in the World?

Here are some interesting facts about various countries of the world. Just where would I be?

The world's tallest waterfall, Angel Falls, is located here.

There are over 25,000 species of orchids, including the country's national flower 'flor de mayo orchid'.

It was colonized by Spain in 1522 and declared independence from Spanish rule in 1811, on July 5th (its National Day).

It has one of the largest natural gas reserves and has the 2nd largest oil reserve in the world, it is one of the world's top ten crude oil exporters.

A type of small guitar called the cuatro is the national instrument. and the national dance is the waltz-like dance called joropo.

Baseball is its most popular sport, there has been a professional baseball league in the country since 1945.

Their flag is colored yellow, blue and red. The yellow is for land wealth, the blue for the sea that separates it from Spain, and the red represents the blood shed by the heroes of independence.

Interesting Thought. . .

He that is good for making excuses is
seldom good for anything else.
~ Benjamin Franklin.

Leaving on a humorous note, I hope!

Why is the man who invests all your money called
a broker?
