One Hundred Twenty-six - - "And, the Sign Says..."

Well, that has to be the cutest logo around these parts. Tip of the stethoscope to Carol, Milt, Mike Di,. EMO, and Michelle for putting one (baby) and one (doctor's equipment) together to come up with a pediatrician! Also coming up with correct answers (doctor) were Phil, Joyce, and Joani.

Well, here is today's logo. One hint, it's not Benihana's!

One Hundred Twenty-five - "And, the Sign Says. . ."

I'm not sure what some of you are sniffing (Sushi? Printing shop) but a Greek name NIKO and a slice out of the "O" means PIZZA to me! Thanks to Peyton, Mike P., EMO, Tony, Pete, Michael K., Deana (welcome back), Phil, Joyce, and Mike Di for giving me back my faith in my blog-followers.

Best Greek Pizza in West Bridgewater!

Here is one of the cutest logos I came across in my travels. What is the profession here. . .

Don't let me down!

One Hundred Twenty-four - "And, the Sign Says..."

Sure, I throw out a no-brainer and I get swamped with responses - okay maybe not swamped as fourteen is hardly a swamping (?).
Yes, it was a sign board for a dentist. .

Do you really need to see who got it right? Joyce, Carol, Beth (she's back), Michelle, Tony, EMO, Milt, Phil, Michael K., Peyton, Mike P., Joani, and Mike Di (good to know RI does have these).

#124 is one clever use of a logo and its product. What are they selling???

And, don't let me be reading, "We don't have that business around my town. . ."

One Hundred Twenty-three - "And, the Sign Says..."

Yesterday's logo was a road in the shape an an "s" which is what Sullivan's Tires uses on their sign boards. For those out of this area, Sullivan's is not the go-to company for tires.

Phil, Milt, Joyce, and Pete did recognize the logo while EMO knew they were tires. Michelle is on the North Shore where Hogan Tire is king while Mike Di is at a disadvantage since Sullivan's does not do business in Rhode Island!

Let's try something a little more generic. You should know the product/service associated with this one. . .

I do remember seeing similar signs around various parts of the country - even RI.

One Hundred Twenty-two "And, the Sign Says..."

With today's challenge, I have submitted for one-third of the year! Yea, me!!

Signage logos are used to identify the company name (as in Deere, Target) and a product as in Asack's (footwear). Well done Carol, Phil, EMO, Peyton, Milt, Pete, Michael K., Joyce, and Joani. The judges are still mulling over Mike Di.'s response that Asack's "sells one sack at a time!" Must have been a long day at the office!

This logo is very common around these parts. Who is it and what do they sell?????

One Hundred Twenty-one - "And, the Sign Says..."

My calendar is showing May so it must be time for me to change my challenge theme. As I have said before, this daily posting of an image has opened up my eyes to see things that have been there but never truly noticed. May is another example of this enlightenment. I will be focusing ‘literally’ on signs. As I drove through the back streets of my surrounding towns, I have been amazed at the creative and the obvious in what people post to promote their businesses. Over the next thirty days, I’ll share some of these with you.

Let’s get started. . .

Some signs will be promoting the company name, others their product and the rest, who knows what’s going on behind those walls??

From the logo, one would think they sell or make deer but we all know it's not the product, it's the family name.

So what's been sold, produced here?

One Hundred Twenty - "Architecturally Yours"

I am NOT going to miss typing out this April title!

The third building, the North Easton Train Station, was designed by H. H. Richardson in 1881 and added to the National Registry of Historic Places in 1972. Currently, it houses the Historical Society.

Ending the month on a positive note were EMO (welcome back), Michelle, Joyce, Milt, and Peter (welcome back as well).

As has been my usual sign-off to each month (and, I'm getting better at doing them), here is a compilation of April's Architecture.
Thanx and enjoy. . .

 How many do you see?

Oh, what's happening for May? Check back with me on Thursday!
