A serial number it was, although i did get a few reasonable answers as well. It was from a $5 bill. Here's the strange part - as I was taking a shot of the entire bill and bringing it into PhotoShop, I got a warning from PhotoShop that the tweaking or changing of US currency is regulated. It then sent me to another site. I have been waiting the arrival of the Secret Service at any moment:)
