The library in Franklin, MA claims to have books actually donated by Benjamin Franklin! From what I have read other libraries claim to be the First! Mike P., Michael K., Michelle, Mike Di, Peyton, Phil, Mariann, Milt, and Carol opted for Franklin as first.

Hopefully no controversies on this town. . .

Okay, just one - in 2012 this town tried to institute a Profanity Ban! 

This HUGE house was home to Charles Stratton - a distant relative to P T Barnum

Oliver Mill Park 1700s was an ironworks site; 1820 switched to shovels  - wall was part of the mill
