# 308 - "Patterned by Nature"

Bed post, eh? Actually, it was a sandstone sphere! More on this natural feature - sandstone is a sedimentary rock composed of sand-sized quartz and feldspar, which are the most common minerals in the Earth's crust. These tiny grains of sand are usually cemented together by calcite, clay, iron oxide or silica, and often form interesting layers that create pictures or scenes.
Source: Utah
Metaphysical Properties: Sandstone is often said to be the stone of creativity, and promotes clear thinking.

We did have two guesses for a bedpost and some other incorrect tries. Michelle, Michael K., Deana, Tony, Phil, Joyce, and Peyton weighed in on the sphere.

This is a pattern by nature but made possible by me!!!

This would be "The Organ" found in Arches N. P. There were several of these majestic structures everywhere you looked!
