Shoot Eighteen - "Haul of Fame!"

Italy, of course! Only heard from Jim, Elaine, Mike, Milt, Joani, and Michelle.

"1920's Mack Truck"

Shoot Seventeen was the result of another member getting us to visit the "Haul of Fame" in nearby CT. Our contact person has set aside space on his sprawling junkyard for a museum of some of his prize possessions for the world of Mack.

After about a half-hour inside the building, I headed outside to see the rusting giants of our past! Trucks, buses, heavy-duty road construction equipment was among the growing vines and trees.

This 1920's Mack was the "welcome signage" as you entered the property. The final image went through a myriad of post-processing to get this look.

"Haul of Fame" was a photographer's dream shoot! Unfortunately, we had to pack up and leave. .

Where in the World?

Here are some interesting facts about various countries of the world. Just where would I be?

The land area is the 4th largest in Europe.

It shares a land border with its Scandinavian counterparts Finland and Norway, and is connected to Denmark by a bridge.

Forests cover over 50% of the country, there are also around 100,000 lakes and over 24,000 islands throughout the country.

It is renown for producing great pop bands and singers, including ABBA, The Cardigans, Ace of Base, Europe and The Hives. It is the world's 3rd largest exporter of music after the United States and United Kingdom.

A number of prominent manufacturing and technology company's were founded here including Ericsson, Volvo, Saab, Scania trucks, IKEA and Electrolux.

Ice hockey and football (soccer) are its main sports, other popular sports include handball, golf, gymnastics, athletics and cross country skiing.

Very Interesting . . .

HOT OFF THE PRESS

As the paper goes through the rotary printing press friction causes it to heat up.
Therefore, if you grab the paper right off the press it’s hot.
The expression means to get immediate information!

Coffee Break Time!

Leaving on a humorous note, I hope!

I had some words with my wife,

and she had some paragraphs with me.
