#168 - "Where's Waldo, er Joe?"

Of course, it was Brockton! Did you know the Rocky statue in Philadelphia is a mere ten feet tall - obviously Brockton and "our" Rocky are twice the man theirs was!!!

Earning their Golden Gloves for this round were Mike P. (who has pix from the Rocky dedication along with several boxers), Steph (has covered the dedication of the Strand Memorial), Phil, Michelle, Mariann, Pete, Mike Di., EMO (from the Upper Peninsula), Milt, Peyton (still in Norway), Micheal K., and Carol.

I'm feeling the pressure of what to do for July. I have some ideas that I have been checking out. Back to June. . .

This beautiful horse along with fifteen of his closest steeds goes with this

as they parade around the various towns! Company began in Brockton in 1895 with horses (not Clydesdales). The wagon is an 1899 former milk truck totally refurbished!

Once the town library built in 1914, now Something Brewin' Cafe

All that's left of Samson’s Tavern which dated back to 1798. Ideal place for a tavern as it was on the very busy Boston to New Bedford road.

What are you waiting for? Find me as the cafe is closed!
