My final image from my SW Half-trek is this one showing the massive turbines of the Hoover Dam. Although a National Park, it was NOT closed since they raise their own monies through admission to keep it open. Needless to say, it was quite crowded.

As impressive as these machines were, the actual dam was  gigantic!
