Shoot Six - "Doane's Falls"

India as noted by Michelle, Milt, Joani, Doris, Elaine, Peyton, and Mike Di.

"Doane's Falls"

Shoot Six took place just about a year ago when about a dozen photographers from Hockomock Digital spent an entire day shooting several waterfalls in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.

Phil's Phantastic Photo Phun was a huge success as we got to spend the day capturing one of my favorite subjects - falling water!

Our first stop was Doane's Falls in Royalston, MA. Our first crisis was the undernourished mosquitos of this natural setting. Judging by their aggressive behavior, I'm guessing they hadn't been fed in quite some time! Fortunately, we had Deedee with us and she is a human magnet for these annoying insects!

I managed to stay bitten-free and got this flow from Doane's. As for Deedee, the bug spray did not keep them away! This is what I call taking one for the team!

Where in the World?

Here are some interesting facts about various countries of the world. Just where would I be?

This island country was claimed by Spain after Christopher Columbus landed there in 1494. It then came under English rule in 1655 before gaining independence in 1962.

The longest mountain range is called the Blue Mountains. Blue Mountain Peak is the highest point on the island at 2256 metres (7402 feet).

Here they drive on the left-hand side of the road.

It exports agricultural products such as bananas, coffee and sugar.

Over one million tourists visit the island every year.

Interesting Thought. . .

"Live as if you were to die tomorrow. . .
Learn as if you will live forever."
~ Mahatma Gandhi

Leaving on a humorous note, I hope!

Why do you have to 'put your two cents in'...
but it's only a 'penny for your thoughts'?
Where's that extra penny going to?
