Shoot Thirteen - "Portraiture with Meghan"

Madagascar, the Island and not the movie!
Heard from Elaine, Joani, Jim, Mike, Michelle, Doris, and newcomer,Steve T! And, a last minute response from Peyton - he was waiting for Matthew (the hurricane) to leave the area!

"Meghan Submerged!"

That water was cooling off as the sun set BUT Meghan was the trooper. As Jeff asked for different angles and poses, she cooperated.

For me the earrings, the necklace of pearls and the smile made the shot!

Where in the World?

Here are some interesting facts about various countries of the world. Just where would I be?

People here are the tallest in the world, with an average height of 184 cm for men and 170 cm for women.

The national anthem, Wilhelmus, is the oldest in the world. It was written and first used from 1568, although it was only officially adopted in 1932.

Gin was invented here under the name of Jenever. It was first sold as a medicine in the late 16th century.

Although the Portuguese were the first Europeans to "discover" tea in East Asia, it was these citizens who introduced the beverage commercially to Europe in 1610. Tea didn't reach England until the 1650's.

It became the first country in the world to legalize same-sex marriages in 2001.

Has spawned many world-class painters, such as Rembrandt, Jan Vermeer, Jan Steen, Vincent van Gogh or Piet Mondriaan.

Keukenof Park is the largest flower garden in the world.

Leaving on a humorous note, I hope!
