Shoot Seven - Family Walk

It was Capetown. . . Doo Dah! Doo Dah!! Someone, who will go nameless went with Camp Town! However, the rest of you came up with Cape Town - Mariann, Elaine, Carol, Michelle, Milt, Mike, Joani, and a welcome back to Gulchin!

"You Go, Girl!"

It's only June and I am already at my seventh photo op of 2016!

Each year on the Saturday before Father's Day, My Brother's Keeper holds it annual Family Walk. It is one of their major fundraisers as well as a fun day!

Hundreds of families - three and four generations deep - come out for the two mile stroll though Easton. It starts on the grounds of MBK and winds through Stonehill's campus and parts of the Sheep Pasture before returning to Stonehill

After the walk all participants are greeted by amusement rides, entertainment, food and friendly conversations!

Above you will see MBK staffer, Jules, trying her technique on the Raging Bull. I admire her courage and determination as it would have been a guaranteed ride in the ambulance if I tried it.

Jules got high points for her style and courage  but scored low in duration time on the mechanical ride!

Where in the World?

Better get out the atlas as this year I will be featuring some of the more famous cities of the world! I will offer some interesting facts about one of them. Just which city am I describing?

another largest city and capital of its country.

Romans founded the city two thousand years ago

Harrods is the city’s most popular department store and it offers a fantastic shopping experience for visitors.

Theater lovers will enjoy visiting West End Theater District where all kinds of plays, musicals and other performances can be seen.

Still stuck? Harrod's should have clinched it but how about it is one of the most visited city on the continent due to its many famous attractions like Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, the House of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, Tower Bridge and St. Paul’s Cathedral. One of the newest attractions to experience is the Eye, and it gives visitors wonderful panoramic views of the city.
