"Totem Pole"
Still in Monument Valley. . .
The shoot through Mystery Valley on the Navajo Reservation was
one to remember. There were iconic shots to be taken everywhere. Fortunately,
our guide knew where to stop and when. This was the case for Totem Pole. He
knew it had to be captured for sunrise so he made sure we were there when the
sun rose. I felt it was all about the sunrise so I opted to make the actual
rock structure a silhouette.
